Stanley D. Stephen, MHA

As a healthcare executive and advisor, Stan has 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, joint venture analysis and development, medical practice operational and financial management, managed care contract negotiations and modeling, provider chargemaster pricing optimization, and other financial services. His background includes work with large health systems, rural hospitals and physician practices. He has a reputation for strong analytical/financial and organizational skills, attention to detail, and working within a team approach to provide clients an exceptionally high level of value added services.

Stan has worked with a variety of healthcare providers and organizations, including:

Indiana University – Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis, IN – Management of pediatric service line consisting of 11 physicians and 30 employees.
Clarian Health Partners, Inc., Indianapolis, IN – Responsible for financial reporting of managed care business (approximately $600 million), including financial modeling of contracts, monthly and quarterly reporting, preparing managed care budget, contract financial modeling, and contract negotiations.
Blue & Co., LLC, Indianapolis, IN – Management of client engagements including preparation of pro-forma financial statements, and capital planning for existing facility joint ventures and new entity start-ups, congestive heart failure program development, medical practice valuations, hospital strategic planning, hospital system affiliation planning, medical practice operations assessments, billing/reimbursement/collections assessments.

Stan earned a Master’s degree in Health Administration and his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Health Administration from Indiana University.
