Jason Lynch has dedicated his career to health care with more than 10 years experience in management at a not-for-profit teaching medical center with a level I trauma center, level III newborn intensive care unit and children's hospital, and a free standing Heart and Vascular Hospital. In 2003, Mr. Lynch joined St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, the largest hospital among the 26 acute care hospitals in the Sisters of Mercy Health System. Between 2005 and 2010, Mr. Lynch held various management positions within the Cardiovascular Service Line including: manager of a 12 bed CCU and 20 bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, manager of Non-Invasive Cardiology and Vascular Services and executive director of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Diagnostic Services. In 2009, he assumed oversight for the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri in addition to his leadership duties at Mercy's Heart and Vascular Hospital in St. Louis. Under his leadership, Mr. Lynch converted the diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab in Washington to an interventional lab with off-site surgical support. In September 2009, his leadership duties were expanded once again to include oversight for the Cardiovascular Research Program and Core Echo Lab at St. John's Mercy Heart and Vascular Hospital . In 2010, Mr. Lynch was instrumental to the acquisition and on-boarding of eight additional integrated cardiologists. This acquisition brought the number of integrated cardiologists at St. John's Mercy to 25. Further expanding his scope of responsibilities as a result of this acquisition, Mr. Lynch assumed executive oversight for an additional diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and recovery area, along with a full array of Noninvasive Diagnostic Testing performed in the newly acquired practice. Mr. Lynch is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing, the American Heart Association, The Society of Critical Care Medicine, The American College of Cardiology, The American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. He has received awards and recognition for his scholarly studies and commitment to improving the health care system. He is certified as a Critical Care Nurse by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri. A native of South Bend, Indiana, Mr. Lynch earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Notre Dame. In 2003, he graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. |
