P. Anthony Long, FACCA, CAAMA, CHE

Anthony Long is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 14 years of senior management experience. Anthony also has significant experience leading multi-provider organizations including a six-hospital healthcare alliance, a heart center management agreement featuring two competing hospitals, and a jointly-owned hospital/physician heart hospital co-management company with a unique payment system for achieving quality incentives.

Beyond leading joint ventures, Anthony has extensive experience implementing strategic partnerships and alliances, physician recruitment, outreach development, operational improvements and supply chain management improvements.

Accomplishments:

Implemented approaches to combine physician, administrative and staff expertise in addressing patient care and treatment protocols, as well as financial incentive measures Implemented under arrangement and joint venture Cardiac Imaging Strategies, combining radiologists and cardiologists into a multi-disciplinary approach to address Cardiac MR, CT, EBCT, Carotid and Peripheral procedures
Increased market share by aggressively recruiting physician staff and developing cross-marketing outreach opportunities
Developed a Women and Heart Disease program targeting women age 25-45
Member, Board of Directors and Chairman, Education Committee for the American College of Cardiovascular Administrators.

Recognized speaker on physician / hospital joint venture activities and outreach development. Anthony has a master’s degree in business administration from Ashland University (Ohio) and a bachelor’s of business administration with a dual major in psychology from Ohio Northern University (Ada, Ohio).
