Michael L. Hutchison, MBA

As a healthcare executive, Mike has 30 years of experience in diverse cardiovascular service leadership, heart program start-ups, strategic planning, marketing, facility planning, and program development. His background includes work with large hospital systems, rural hospitals, underserved markets, program evaluations, cardiac service line development, and research in domestic markets. His broad experience further encompasses start up and development of cardiac services in the European market.

Accomplishments and experience include:

Participated clinically in over 4,000 open heart surgery procedures Spearheaded the development of a novel new company for the research and development of cardiovascular devices and products Successfully facilitated the recovery and profitability of companies through the identification of market opportunities Aggressively and successfully sought new treatment modes through collaborative efforts between physicians and hospital administration Participated in the development of numerous next generation implantable cardiac devices and personally developed five device patents

Mr. Hutchison earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiovascular Administrators.
